Copenhagen,

Denmark

Your guide to the perfect experience_

Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark, is filled with incredible people and culture. Founded around the 10th century as a small Viking village, it has grown to become the most populated city in Denmark. The Danes filling these historic streets are not ordinary people either but are seen as the second happiest people in Europe.

In Copenhagen, you can find many different cultural and touristic attractions. Want to experience thrilling rides and beautiful scenery? Look no further than Tivoli Gardens, which is located right next to central station in the centre of the city. Want to have a cosy picnic? Parks in Copenhagen are everywhere, but our personal favourite is the Kings Garden, where you will not only find a beautifully maintained park but a small castle as well. Museums are also incredible in and around Copenhagen, and the one that sticks out for us is Louisiana located just a bit outside of the city centre in Humblebæk.

But Copenhagen is filled with so much more, from the iconic Nyhavn to the beautiful statue of the Little Mermaid, you will never find yourself bored while exploring the city. Are you curious to find out more about Copenhagen? See our news articles below, or go to the official visitcopenhagen website for more places to visit and things to see.

During the late 1800’s, the urban population grew rapidly meaning that working class quarters shot up outside the Inner City - and Nørrebro was one of these quarters. Also, during the 1960’s and 70’s a shortage in the Danish labour force led to a vast amount of migrant workers coming to Copenhagen - and a lot of them settled in Nørrebro. Today, Nørrebro is a hip, youthful and multicultural neighbourhood. Go for a run around the Copenhagen Lakes, have a great bistro dinner at Skt. Hans Torv, or explore a fantastic selection of Middle Eastern and Asian specialties from the many local merchant-shops.
